Dawn’s Favorite Place:¬†Hatteras, North Carolina
Why She Loves Hatteras“Cape Hatteras offers beautiful uncrowded beaches with a rich history and a quaint fisherman’s village atmosphere. Also known as the Graveyard of the Atlantic, this little spit of land 20 some odd miles off the coast of NC is the most unique beach resort area I have had the privilege of getting to know. It is well known for its many water activities including surfing, kite boarding, diving & more.”
Dawn’s Favorite Things to Do and See in Hatteras, NC
- Cape Hatteras Lighthouse- tallest in N. America
- Ocracoke – a short ferry ride away where Blackbeard was killed
- The beach of course!
I currently reside in Asheville, NC with my 2 precocious young children (3 if you count my husband). I recently sold my restaurant in the Outer Banks & now run my own marketing business offering web design, email marketing services, and social media mgmt. I’m looking forward to what’s to come!
